LAKE COUNTY WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD MISSION STATEMENT

	To build an economically strong community through the provision of resources to our customers (One-Stop System Committee)
	To offer resources in an integrated manner cooperatively in a one stop network (One-Stop System Committee)
	To target those in need of additional training, skills or education and provide them with the support and skills they need to become self-sufficient (Marketing/Employer Linkages Committee)
	To match the skills and abilities of individuals with the needs of employers (Marketing/Employer Linkages Committee)
	To foster a cooperative effort between county and state agencies, employers, education and economic development, in which a transformed workforce investment system can flourish (Marketing/Employer Linkages Committee)
	To be known in the community for the integrity of the leadership, the responsiveness of the staff, partners and providers, and the value added of the services provided (Performance/Continuous Improvement Committee)
	To listen to the customers and then make decisions regarding investments in the community (Performance/Continuous Improvement Committee)
