The Workforce Investment Board is the recognized leader of employer-driven workforce development in Lake County, respected for its ability to forge partnerships among strategic stakeholders. These partners share knowledge and resources to provide lifelong education, training and job readiness services to ensure a skilled workforce that supports regional and global competitiveness and enjoys a high quality of life.

GOAL 1: To be the recognized leader of employer-driven workforce development in Lake County.

GOAL 2: To be a respected convener/facilitator of strategic stakeholders to share knowledge and resources to drive workforce initiatives.

GOAL 3: To create and sustain an employer-driven workforce development system that provides lifelong education, training and job readiness services to ensure a skilled workforce that supports regional and global competitiveness and enjoys a high quality of life.
