"I am 62 years old and after working some straight 30 years, I find myself laid-off and unemployed. It hit me like a lead balloon... I, however, wasted no time and headed straight for the Job Center the next day. I was frightened, apprehensive and very worried about my future. I felt all alone.

I was so wrong, for what I was to learn in the next three weeks has changed my life in the way I look at the world around me and a better look at myself. No matter where I turned in the Job Center, there was help and support. All of the people who work here are so heartwarming and so very kind and helpful... I have taken advantage of tons of the workshops and courses... I am making it my goal to love what I do in the next phase of my life thanks to all the people at the Job Center.
